Parish QR Codes: Canon John Paul is aware that not everybody carries cash nowadays especially when they go to church and cannot put anything into the collection plate. Many like to pay for things on their phone and use QR codes to give to various charities. Lots of Churches now use QR Codes to help people give to their parish. Canon John Paul has managed to get QR Codes from the Diocese for Castlebay Parish and one for Northbay parish. The QR codes will be up placed on parish notice boards and also left in the porches of all 5 of our churches. There will also be small leaflets that people can take home with them or they can pass onto someone that woul like to give to the parish online.
Scottish Bishops letters: in the church are 2 letters from the Catholic Bishops of Scotland. The first is about helping us in our decision of voting at the Scottish Election on 7th May. The other letter is asking all parishes to reflect on possible changes to structrues of the church in Scotland.
