CHURCH NOTICES

Christmas Mass times: please note the times and places of the Masses for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The best way to truly celebrate Christmas is to go to Mass and receive the blessings of the Lord Jesus upon you and your family.

Northbay Church Christmas Choir Practice: will be on Monday 22nd December at 2pm in Northbay Church. All welcome!

Christmas Carols: carols will be sung 15 minutes before Northbay & Craigston Masses on Christmas Eve. Therefore at 6.15pm in Northbay and 10.45pm in Craigston. Come along and join in with the carols.

Christmas Church Cleaning & decorating: Canon John Paul wishes to thank everyone who has helped prepare all five of our Churches for Christmas. Moran Taing uile!

Tuesday Mass: this week the Tuesday Mass will be in Cobhair Bharraigh at 12 Noon.

Friday Mass: “boxing Day” Mass on Friday will only be in St. Brendan’s Home at 2.30pm. All welcome!

Community Carol singing: come along and join in the community carol singing on Sunday 28th December at 3pm in Northbay Hall. There will be mince pies and a wee glass of wine available to help with the singing!!. There will be a “bucket collection” and all donations will go to the Charity SCIAF. All welcome!

Sacrament of Confession: Canon John Paul will make his available for Confession on Monday 22nd Dec 10am-10.30am in Castlebay Church and also from 7pm-7.30pm in Castlebay. Then on Tuesday 23rd Dec 10am-10.30am in Northbay Church.

Funeral details: of Duncan Johnstone will be on Monday 19th January 2026 in Hurlet Crematorium in Glasgow at 12 Noon.
