Church Notices………..

Recent Funeral: we pray for the repose of the soul of David MacKinnon (David a’ Phataidh) of Bentangaval who suddenly passed away last Monday 26th January at his own home at the age of 74. It was a shock to the island community the sudden death of David. The Requeim Mass of David took place on Thursday 29th January in Our Lady Star of the Sea in Castlebay. David was then laid to rest in Cuithir Cemetery. We extend our prayers of love and sympathy to Celia and all the family, relatives and friends at this sad and difficult time. Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.

Candlemas Candles: Candles will be blessed today.
