Recent Funeral:  we remember in our prayers the repose of the soul of MARY FLORA MacNEIL or MAINIE as we all knew her as. Mainie peacefully passed away in the early hours of last Tuesday morning at the age of 68 in St. Brendan’s Hospital. Mainie has not kept good health for a long time. The Requiem Mass took place on Thursday 31st October in St. Barr’s, Northbay and then Mainie was laid to rest in Eoligarry Graveyard beside her late husband Don. We extend our prayers of love and sympathy to Laura and all the family at this sad time. Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen.

Funeral Collection: Mainie’s family asked if a collection could be taken up after the funeral last Thursday and for the collection to be split between St. Barr’s Church and St. Brendan’s Hospital.
