Funerals:we remember in our prayers the repose of the soul of DONALD ELDER of Bruernish who suddenly passed away in his home at the age of only 61. Many of us knew Donald from working on the Calmac boat between Barra & Eriskay which he did for the last 21 years. The Requiem Mass of Donald will be on Thursday 7th March in St. Barr’s Northbay at 11.30am. We extend our prayers of love and sympathy to Margaret Anne and all the family at this very sad time. Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.
We also remember in our prayers the repose of the soul of JOANNE MacMILLAN (Joanne Ailig Dhuibh) who passed away on Sunday at the age of 87. Joanne for the last year had been in St. Brendan’s home. Joanne’s Requiem Mass will be on Wednesday 6th March at 11.00am in St. Vincent de Pauls in Eoligarry. We extend our prayers of sympathy to all Joanne’s family at this time. Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen.
