Craigston Church work: thankfully last week with the great weather we had the three new large wooden church windows put into St. Brendan’s Craigston. Let’s hope it will be another 100 years before they have to be replaced! The joiners have to return again this week to finish some work-therefore no Mass on Wednesday.

First Holy Communion Sunday: today is the Feast of Corpus Christi- the Feast of the Body & Blood of Christ. Today there are 11 children who will receive their First Holy Communion- let us pray for Anna Nicholson, Katie MacLeod, Sandy MacLeod, Anthony MacNeil, Caragh MacKinnon, James Taylor, Calum MacKinnon, Roselia MacDougall & Millie McCathie who will receive their First Holy Communion in Our Lady Star of the Sea at 11.30am.

We pray that the day will be a special day for the children and their families.

Thank You: Canon John Paul received a message from the family of the late Mary Catherine MacKinnon –Mairi Bheag Bhan. The family wish to thank everyone who sent Mass cards and sent their prayers of love and support to the family. Mairi’s requiem Mass took place in Livingston on Wednesday 31st May. The Mass took place in St. Andrews Church in Livingston and the Mass was celebrated by her nephew Fr. Michael John Galbraith. Mairi was then laid to rest in the Cemetery in Livingston. The family appreciate all the kindness of all who sent cards. Holy Mass will be offered for the intensions of all! Moran Taing!
