SCIAF Wee Boxes: if you have a SCIAF Box at home then please hand it into the Church as soon as you can.

Easter prayer books: there are Easter prayer books with daily meditations and another book with the daily Easter readings. Both are priced £1.

Thanks: Canon John wishes to thank everyone who has helped prepare our Churches for Easter. A lot of hard work “goes on behind the scenes” to get things ready. Moran Taing!

Bishop Brian McGee Meeting: the Bishop will be here celebrating the Sacrament of Confirmation for the children on Saturday 22nd April. He will be here the day before -therefore the Bishop would like to have the “Led by the Spirit” meeting on Friday 21st April from 6.30pm-8pm in Northbay Hall. Sadly the Bishop has twice tried to have the meeting but both times postponed. We will have only one meeting to cover bother parishes. Please come along and listen to Bishop Brian’s thoughts but importantly to add your own thoughts to the meeting.

Sacrament of Confirmation: we keep the children in our prayers who are preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation. The Confirmation Mass with Bishop Brian will be Saturday 22nd April at 11am in Our Lady Star of the Sea. There are 19 Children preparing for the Sacrament.

Eoligarry Church Cross: At the moment everyone seems to be in favour of replacing the Celtic Cross above the altar with the new Cross of the Risen Lord. Therefore during this Easter season will be the perfect time to put up the cross with the Risen Christ figure and we will place the Celtic Cross either in the Church porch or above the back wall in the Church.

New Gift Aid Envelopes: the new envelopes are available to collect in the church. If anyone would like to sign up for gift aid please speak with Canon John Paul. If you pay tax then you can give your Sunday collection as gift Aid. Just a quick signature and you can take an envelope home with you or you may wish to set up a standing order through your bank account with the parish.

Lourdes Parish Pilgrimage 2024: we are looking at dates for next year of 2024. We are waiting for possible dates and prices. If it is something you might be interested in then let Canon John Paul know.

Tea in Northbay Hall: on the first Sunday of each month there will be tea in Northbay Hall after the 9.30am Northbay Mass. All welcome!!

Canon John Paul wishes everyone a very happy & holy Easter. May the blessings of the Risen Lord Jesus be with you all and all your families at this holy time.
