Mass for Burial of Ashes: next Saturday (27th September) during the 10.00am Mass in Castlebay we will offer prayers in remembrance of the late Katie Mary MacNeil (Katie Mary nighean Uilleam Beag of Nask). Katie died on 23rd August in Glasgow at the age of 71 and her Requiem Mass took place on Tuesday 9th September in St. Stephen’s RC Church in Clydebank. After the Mass Katie was cremated. Her ashes have now returned to Barra so that they can be laid to rest on the island in Cuithir Cemetery. All are invited to the Mass next Saturday at 10am in Our Lady Star of the Sea. Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen.
